We all missed Durango…

But shot our last sequence at one of the most beautiful locations. I hope this doesn’t sound like I’m repeating myself – because we have so many visually stunning locals in the film – but Puente de Ojuela is a picturesque mining site in the mountains in the north of the state of Durango. Salvador Parra, our Production Designer, turned the abandoned city there into the town of San Miguel for our story – and he outdid himself once more. With more than a little help from the natural mountains and valley below – it makes for a really cinematic setting.
Andy and Santiago played a couple of scenes here – and it was really a treat for me to see them bringing more and more to these characters every time we shoot as this story comes alive… The dynamic between the two of them is really complex and interesting and it’s only the beginning.
I know the cast feels it’s nice to be back “at home” in Durango after our quick trip.
Tonight is our first shooting day with Catalina (as Adriana). I’ve thrown her quite a loop for day 1 – but I know she’s going to amaze everyone with her performance !

Actually the extras of Durango are gonna miss you guys…I’m actually so happy to be part of this great and awesome film…I gotta say thnx for let me be an extra of this wonderful fillm…the acting is my life and been an extra is a big step…oh and finally Dean Wright it was a pleasure to meet you…congrats for all and good luck…bye
